My Vacation

This vacation has been fabulous. Not that we did a great deal of travelling, instead we chose to get some things done around the yard. Each day we set a goal and went about achieving it. Just minor little things that have piled up and we would keep saying "Boy, we really need to get such and such a thing done." Well with a week off and nothing really planned, this was the best time to do it all and we did. Brush got trimmed, trees and shrubs cut and burned. Tomorrow we do a run to the dump with all the metal crap we have been saying for over a year we were going to take there. It amazing how these little tasks have made such a difference in the look of our property. Some might ask why we didn't do something with the inside of the house. That's what winter is for. And this mess outside needed doing before this place looked like two lazy shits lived here that didn't give a damn about how their property looked. My intent is to get stuffed moved into the attic this late fall...you know...after the GD hornets are all DEAD! Rat bastards are everywhere here. On the eves of the house, in the attic. I loathe them. So very very much.
